To celebrate John Lennon’s 70th birthday, I thought I would post a video of one my favorite JL songs. Although, we put Beautiful Boy on Sayer’s playlist when he was a baby- and it is a favorite of mine too (hard to narrow it down). I also wanted to share this photo that I found of him today- I really love it. Do you have a favorite John Lennon song?

11 October 2010That is a fantastic image Kristin. I actually can remember where I was when John Lennon was murdered.. I was in our basement and had my little Snoopy notebook with me. I started to write some things in there about why I loved the Beatles and what John Lennon meant to me. I think I was about 8 or 9. I don't know about what is my favourite song but there is one that I can't listen to or else I start tearing up and crying: Just Like Starting Over. I don't know why, I just can't listen to it. I'm nuts. lol. Sometimes my hub will sing Beautiful Boy but replace the 'boy' with 'girl' to K. : ) Love your tribute Kristin!
