It may not have been super sunny here in the NW over the long weekend, but it was a good weekend to fly a kite. Chris’ father has been visiting for a few weeks from Rhode Island so Chris has been taking the weekends off, which has been really nice. We all hopped in the car on Sunday & headed to Gasworks Park in Seattle for a little kite flying. It’s a really cool park that was built on a former site of a gasification plant & the ruins are a part of the park. The view of the city is incredible & there are lots of hills to walk or ride your bike up. Sayer was more interested in rolling down them. He just rolled, & rolled….

Our schedules have been so busy lately that taking the time to hang out together & just fly a kite was a welcomed change. It was a pretty relaxing day that ended with a trip to the sushi bar.
